Maraudeur

Maraudeur a démarré comme le projet solo de Lise à Genève. Quelques années plus tard le groupe a évolué et le line-up a changé, mais Maraudeur continue sur la même voie, un post-punk inspiré autant de Kleenex que de Malaria!. Nourri de moments inattendus et du plaisir d’être ensemble, le terrain de jeu que sont les concerts nous/leur assure de bons moments de fun.

“ Retrofuturism is a staple term used in film. It blurs the lines of looking into the fu- ture while using a lens inspired by decades past. This push-and- pull tension of the past littering the future creates an unsettling feeling. It makes us feel nostalgic for something that hasn’t happened yet. MARAUDEUR is a similar, perplexing blend of decades: ’70s NY no wave/Rough Trade art-punk that when applied to me- chanical ’80s coldwave, sounds beyond modern. MARAUDEUR, whose lyrics are in English, German, and French, further plays into this hard-to-pin-down time or place on the map. Yesterday becomes a bridge to tomorrow.
